IoTOS presents its innovative traceability solution at Bosch ConnectedWorld 2019

At the Bosch ConnectedWorld 2019 conference in Berlin, IoTOS GmbH presented its innovative Track & Trace solution, which enables seamless job tracking from customer order to delivery of the goods in real time. For the first time, all the data generated by various systems during production can be bundled in one place and analysed centrally. The result is a continuous customer order history, which helps to identify problems in the supply chain very quickly. The solution was presented in collaboration with Bosch Rexroth and Bosch Connected Industry (BCI).

The traceability solution from IoTOS was incorporated into Bosch Rexroth’s ActiveAssist and ActiveCockpit presentation at this year’s Bosch ConnectedWorld.

“During manufacturing processes, large amounts of data are generated in various systems, including commercial, order and delivery data as well as quality and production data. At Bosch ConnectedWorld, visitors could see how quality data from the electronics production and production data from the final assembly station – the ActiveAssist – was bundled via IoTOS’ IIoT platform and visualised in the ActiveCockpit for the subsequent evaluation of the processes”, explains Maria Christina Bienek, Business Development Manager at IoTOS GmbH.

The use case demonstrated how data can create added value. Being able to combine quality data with production data in a single environment opens up a wide range of possible applications. As a result, the approach makes it easier to spot sources of errors, optimise processes and prevent or reduce product recalls. By using a semantic database for their products, manufacturers can also optimise the supply chain or create the basis for predictive services.

“Visitors were particularly excited about how easily the solutions from IoTOS could be integrated into the other system solutions and services using Docker technology, resulting in significantly improved data analysis”, adds Maria Christina Bienek.
